Camomile tea. Delicious to drink, a friend to stressed skin, and dubbed a true ‘wonder ingredient’ by us – this humble herb has a million different uses.
Not only a handy remedy for sleepless nights, camomile’s soothing benefits can also be a nifty part of your weekly skin regime. Its cooling properties make it the perfect solution for a stressed or aggravated complexion, and will also help to reduce swelling and puffiness. Since camomile water is particularly good for climate-stressed skin, this natural remedy is perfect for the upcoming spring months and those of you whose skin suffers from allergies.
Brew up a batch using tea bags and purified water, then cool and pop into the fridge where it will last for several days.
Soak your cotton balls in the mixture to use as a soothing applicator, or simply spritz a light amount directly onto your skin and gently pat in using your fingertips.
For a quick yet calming fix, you can also lay back and rest the soaked teabags directly onto your eyelids.
